Parent Information for the Week of March 21-25
This week we are going to be continuing our review centers. See last week's post for more information on centers. We will also have whole class review sessions in which I will focus on weaknesses I've observed and any concepts that the students ask for help with. Please speak with your child about the importance of focusing and being serious about reviewing for the CRCT. We are down to 2 weeks until the testing begins. We still have a lot to do to be ready!
Homework this week will focus on predicate words. I tried using Google Docs the last two weeks, but I've found that it is not supported by some browsers, so I am going back to the old way :)

I want to encourage you to allow your children to use the internet at home to complete practice tests and lessons on http://www.studyisland.com/. This is an excellent tool for CRCT review. As you have read, I have assigned Study Island for homework, but I know there are some students who do not have internet access in their homes. The students will have opportunity to complete those assignments on Thursday when we go to the computer lab. We are also doing daily CRCT review on Study Island as a class.
