Homework Week of January 18-21


Tuesday:
Circle subordinating conjunctions. Label indepedent and dependent clauses.

1. Whenever you do that, Lynn and Morgan laugh.
2. Some people come to the United States to find jobs wherever they can.
3. Since Mariah moved to Springfield, I have missed her.
4. We won the game because we practiced hard.

Wednesday:
Circle subordinating conjunctions. Label indepedent and dependent clauses.

1. Since the weather is cold, we wear our coats every day.
2. Soon we will not need coats because the weather will get warm.
3. If you forget your coat, you may be cold and miserable.
4. I will be glad when it is time to go to the beach and enjoy the warm sun!


 Thursday:

1. When you travel, you should always take an umbrella with you.
2. Be sure to check the temperature each day before you go outside.
3. We did not like the pizza because it had green peppers.
