Label the PN/PA.

Predicate nouns and predicate adjectives are found ONLY after linking verbs. Predicate nouns rename the subject. Predicate adjectives describe the subject.

Example:
                 lv  PA                        lv       PN
 Mrs. Worley is nice.     Mrs. Worley is my teacher.


1. The actor in the movie is Brad Pitt.

2. Sharks are dangerous.

3. The comedians were funny.

4. Dr. Ford is our principal.
