Homework 9/13
Label the subject, verb, indirect object, and direct object. Remember they will be in this order.
1. Yellowstone covers more than two million acres of land.
2. Some hot springs shoot columns of water into the air.
3. Guides teach tourists lessons about the geysers.
4. The bears scare campers.
HINTS:
1. There won't ALWAYS be a direct and indirect object.
2. There will never be an IO without a DO.
3. IOs and DOs will never be in a prepositional phrase.
4. They will always be nouns.
